The purpose of the Media Ministry here at Eben-Ezer C&MA Church is designed to enhance Worship and to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use the media ministry as a tool of technology to tell the story of the Savior.
Those who choose to serve in this ministry can find great fulfillment in being part of a team who loves the Lord and who has a great time serving. The Media Ministry is about people.
There are many opportunities for you in the Media Ministry, all of which are open for you to experience. Don’t let any“technical” lingo scare you, we are here to help you learn, and to have a lot of fun in the process! It’s OK if you don’t have experience. As long as you have the desire, this is where you can get the experience. Media is a behind-the-scenes type of ministry and it can be easy to forget that it even exists. But if its volunteers all stayed home, even for one weekend, people would instantly understand what a vital role the Media Ministry has in all aspects of communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

MISSION:
Our media team mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating a dynamic environment for authentic worship and effective communication while developing genuine community with each other.
TEAM PHILOSOPHY:
Our media team philosophy is to be relevant. For the un-saved person, we have the challenge and opportunity to present a professional looking media. An excellent presentation will assist us in breaking down walls into people’s hearts and help to redefine church.

TEAM RESPONSIBILITY:
As a media team, we are charged with the awesome responsibility of fusing the message (the love of God), and the media (video, graphics , etc.), to form an environment that encourages people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, we want to create space for people to meet with God. As a media team member, your position –and how well you perform at that position – is critical to creating that environment: one that ministers to seekers and believers alike through a professional media.
TEAM COMMITMENT:
The Sunday morning time commitment starts with a pre-media meeting (technical) check and goes through the final service. Our service starts at 11:30am. What we do is very time sensitive. We ask that you be IN PLACE AND READY TO GO by 10:45am.
